Alliance Machine Systems Europe offers its customers
SUN Automation aftermarket products

SUN Automation Group and Alliance Machine Systems International, announce their new strategic alliance for Sales & Distribution of all SUN products in Europe and regions of the Middle East and Northern Africa.

SUN, founded in 1985, is the leading manufacturer of SUN Extend-O-Feed® lead edge feeders, SunTrac® vacuum transfer systems, PrintPrep® sheet cleaner units, RainbowGraphics & Colormaster ink systems, digital harmonic registers, MicroGrind® DC Accuracy Control Systems, dwell units and Spectrum® print units. SUN also extends complete product, parts and service support for Langston®, Staley®, Greenwood and Deritend® machines worldwide.

Alliance is a leading manufacturer of specialty folder gluers, prefeeding systems, palletizers, counter ejectors, RDC stackers, and other material handling systems. Under the brand names, Alliance®, J&LTM, TEI®, ASC/Pallmac®, and Serco, Alliance has served the corrugated market place with quality products for decades. Alliance Machine Systems Europe, BV, a wholly owned sales and service subsidiary headquartered in Bladel, Netherlands, will add the SUN machine products to its sales portfolio during the first quarter of 2010.

“This is an exciting venture for both companies,” says Jeff Peterson, President of SUN. “Our products complement each others’ and are frequently integrated together on the same converting lines. This is an opportunity to not only leverage a great, technically-adept sales force, but also promote better technical integration of the entire material handling systems to maximize our customers’ plant efficiency.”

“We are pleased to add the SUN products to the machinery line that we offer our Eastern Hemisphere customers. Our mission is to enhance our customers’ productivity and the addition of the high quality, high productivity Sun products will allow us even more options for positively impacting converting line throughput.” adds Mark Duchesne, President of Alliance.

This strategic alliance between SUN and Alliance Machine Systems International is limited to the European, Middle-East and Northern African territories and does not affect current sales channels for SUN and Alliance in other territories such as the Americas and Asia.
