2005-2006 Business report
Mark Duchesne, President & CEO reports, robust sales performance
in the Americas has helped to weather weaker markets around the
world. As our industry continues to focus on consolidation, and
box producers seek differentiation, there is now a strong desire
to improve productivity and provide value-added products. AMSI machinery
provides maximum return on assets, reduces manpower and increases
productivity.
Product highlights in 2005 include the ALF MAXTM Robot Palletizer.
This product continues to garner phenomenal customer interest and
produce high levels of customer satisfaction. ALF MAXTM is a complete,
integrated system of bundle preparation, stacking and automatic
tie-sheet/bottom-sheet insertion. We’ve been able to confirm
with each installation that this system keeps up with required production
speeds, eliminates labor and provides superior reliability.
New finishing machines are now offering faster run speeds with significantly
quicker order changes. The Alliance High Speed Top Feeder (HSTF)
is a new generation prefeeder that is specifically designed to deliver
sheets at rates that exceed the top speeds of these finishing machines.
In addition, the HSTF has Auto-Set for quick order changes and a
new, ergonomic waste sheet management system.
The J&L Specialty Folder Gluer continues to lead the market
in performance and customer satisfaction. In 2006, AMSI is proud
to announce the addition of the TANABE line of Specialty Folder
Gluers to the Company’s offering. The TANABE range of machine
sizes and features compliments the J&L product line. Through
this combination, we now offer customers the most complete line
of gluers for the production of specialty-corrugated products.
Again this year we have shown that our Company is about more than
just machinery. Our people are there for customers, neighbors and
fellow citizens. The employees at our Keithville, Louisiana facility
worked closely with private shelters in the area to provided needed
items and immediate support to Katrina victims. AMSI employees in
all locations contributed financially to support these efforts.
As we enter the New Year, the people of Alliance Machine Systems
International offer our customers, and all participants in the industry,
our Best Wishes in 2006.
