2004-2005 Business report
Mark Duchesne reports, “From the team at Alliance Machine
Systems International, Happy New Year and we wish all of our customers
a very prosperous 2005.
Globally, 2004 was a very strong year for the Company and we are
extremely optimistic about 2005. As the industry moves from a focus
on consolidation and survival to one of advancing productivity and
carving out value added niches, our products are second to none
for maximizing return on assets. As we say in our promotions, ‘We
get things moving’.
Product highlights in 2004 include the rollout of a new electric
mini-prefeeder, development of new, higher speed prefeeders and
the introduction of our latest robotic palletizing system, ALF MAX.
All of these products are focused on reducing manpower and increasing
productivity.
ALF MAX, winner of the 2004 AICC Innovator of the Year Award, has
generated phenomenal customer interest. ALF MAX is not just a robot,
it is a complete and integrated system of bundle preparation and
unitization that builds loads directly on floor conveyor at converting
machine speeds, eliminating strenuous and expensive labor, while
maximizing line throughput. ALF MAX hits the price / performance
point that the market has been waiting for.
ACCUSTAK, our rotary die cut stacker, is the clear leader where
superior performance is required. This technology, when properly
applied, offers less than two minute automatic set-ups and can easily
double or triple the productivity over competitive designs.
Our J&L Specialty Folder Gluer continues to lead the market
in performance and total customer satisfaction. 2004 sales of new
machines were the highest in nearly 10 years, proving that when
customers take the time to investigate the differences, our timeless
design continues to stand out.
Looking ahead to 2005, we plan to intensify our focus on customer
needs and emerging market requirements. We will accomplish this
through strengthening communication with our customers and continued
strong R&D investment.”
