Traffic Coordinator & Buyer, Spokane WA

This non-exempt hourly position assists the Materials Manager in the planning and coordinating of all traffic activities and maintenance contracts, and the purchase of all plant equipment. In addition, the successful candidate will assist in arranging supplier agreements and improving supplier performance. Qualified candidates will have a 4-year college degree, preferably with a business emphasis and at least 3 years of purchasing and materials planning. A CMP is a preferred. Must have strong analytical skills and intermediate to advanced computer skills. Recent experience and proficiency with databases and MS Office, including Excel and Word is absolutely required. Must have a proven ability to accurately work with detailed records while consistently meeting deadlines. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work as a positive team member in a demanding production environment.
